I see on the BSPA website Rob Godfrey was tipping us to win the Championship prior to Nico's injury. That makes a refreshing change! He gives the impression that the BSPA will help find a solution to our dilemma. Let's hope so. Say what? I thought he was anti all things Plymouth. Obviously he can see the bigger picture here. Can't wait to see the new and improved track. It's actually unbelievable that it's pretty much done given the utterly horrendous weather Mark and his team have had to deal with over the winter. All fingers crossed that it's bedded in and ready for P&P next Saturday. P and P is the 23rd, a week on Saturday,TBC.

Club update. Today the track was inspected by the SCB in preparation for the coming season. I am delighted to say we passed and we are now good to go. Well nearly, there is still a lot of cosmetics to do to make the stadium our home again. I am calling on all supporters who are available this Saturday 16th March, to come long and give a helping hand from 10am onwards. No particular skills needed, just a willingness to muck in. Yes wellies are advised as it's still very wet at the stadium. Tea and coffee provided. If you have bought an airfence banner or an advertising board and your invoice has been cleared, can sponsors please send me the graphics you would like to use via my email paul@plymouth-speedway.com. If you haven't received an invoice for your offer of sponsorship, please pm me. We are also asking fans to help distribute our posters in and around the areas they live. Campsites, village shops, pubs and anywhere they think it will get noticed. Posters will be available for collection on Saturday. Even if you are unable to help at the stadium, if you can pop in for posters, that would help the club tremendously. Spreading the word is vital to our success. I also have a small number of complimentary tickets that the club is willing to donate to raffles this coming Easter. Raffles must help to raise money for either charities or their local community, again pm me here. Thank you to all our sponsors and supporters, I look forward to seeing you all throughout the season.
Thanks to Paul for letting me post this on here.
The track was inspected yesterday (13th)

From press and practice we spoke with mark and he said they had spoke with riders from Russia, Ukraine, Denmark, Poland, Norway and none of them wanted to come down here and the polish rider they spoke to did not have a team spot and was demanding £1800 a point. Starting to feel really bad for mark and Garry

With the first meeting of the 2024 season rapidly approaching, a couple of rain offs may give us a bit of a leeway. Should we even be thinking of putting the Plymouth Season 2024 Licence on ice for 12 months and aim for a March 2025 season start instead, there I've said it now, was anyone thinking along the same lines.
