Hopefully a good meeting and weather plays ball but rumours of two new riders signing and Henry Atkins at the arena may have been a conincidence but it would be a good signing. I could see to make room for him you would have to lose campos and exstance. I also thought the young lad at Reserve did well so maybe more a change at reserve and one from the top 5. That would mean no Atkins ( unless Stoneman or Wilson left) This also could just be a rumour and nothing in it, I’m sure when and IF the correct time comes around an announcement will be made. It does make me excited however if the team was .... 1- Wilson 2- New rider up to 3.15 3- Atkins 4- Andrew’s 5- Stoneman 6- Sheppard / Bursill / Davies 7 - Sheppard / Bursill / Davies Is there a suitable rider to fit in at 2 ?! No idea Would this be fair on exstance?! maybe not would it make us stronger ?! Possibly Who would want to be a speedway manager/owner! Atkins is out injured for a few weeks at least I was thinking that. So would we be able to use the dreaded R/R.

Has Kelsey Dugard recovered from his early season injury and decided to come out of retirement and help out the struggling Gladiators. God I hope not.🤗

This weeks meeting is cancelled, the clay hasn’t turned up at the track as yet , 10am Wednesday, I and i cannot guarantee that the track will be ready. I do not like to disappoint fans by not having a meeting , I also do not like disappointing fans with copious amounts of dust. Last week we had the local councillors in attendance to monitor and noise test the Quads, and was probably dismayed at the dust as was I. I have not been able to sort mixed shale, the only quarry producing quality shale at the moment is in Scotland, therefore I am awaiting pure ball clay and will endeavour to mix it myself and hopefully sort the problem . >>>SORRY GUYS .......

From what I’m reading maybe we might have a stronger team for the next match, but as it’s not been confirmed maybe not,

Poole and Swindon have had so much bad press, particularly this week, due to their track conditions and it’s important for Plymouth not to have that because I imagine that keeps fans away. I guess it was a decision that was damned if you do, damned if you don’t. Hope the prep goes well and looking forward to seeing some racing on the improved track.

Disappointed that the meeting has been called off, but I understand the importance of getting the track right. Good luck in improving it, ready for next week.
