So now we know six, what's that leave us with to finish? A couple of solid riders in Ben and Kyle, but it's the other four who we'll be looking at to up their averages. They all appear to be the type that should too. 8.24 for last rider mate Justin Sedgmen would fit nicely

Steve Worrall has gone to Glasgow. Any thoughts on Kyle Howarth again? It could be a complete surprise with someone 'doubling down' or a new foreigner, but then there's the Polish problem.

Has Erik Riss signed anywhere yet? I think he would fit and he seems to like our track. I know he had an up and down season last year but I think that was mainly down to illness. I'd like Chris Harris but I think his average is too high.

Having Erik would be good for us home and away so that would be a good signing for us.

If it was me I'd be looking at retaining Howarth and going for Sedgmen

I can see the logic of how this team has been put together and you have to think there is improvement in a few riders average wise, but and it’s a big but we have to have an out and out no 1 to come near the likes of the top teams from last year I no it’s only a 38 points team limit but we have to use them and then who knows but I reckon we could have the strongest reserve pairing in the league, I look forward to hearing who our big hitter will be.

Are B B an mystery man going to compete against Masters an Nicholl Harris an Worral King an Wright Lawson an Brennan Interesting time will tell us. Is Dan Thompson no 3, Newman doesn't win many races ? Certainly going to be a challenge for the teams riders. Many questions will require answering, let's hope the new track will provide entertainment.

We have a very 'even' team at the moment which has the advantage of potentially giving us a potent reserve pairing (which we lacked last season) and also scope for the reserves to challenge for the main body. Disadvantage is the top end is weaker.
Agree we need a very good number 1 to partner Ben in heats 13 and 15, but I see no reason why Dan, Joe and Alfie at least can't challenge for a heat 15 ride, maybe not straight away but they are young and improving.
Kyle is experienced and whilst he may not improve his average so much he had a good season last year and knows our track well.
I know less about Jacob but I'm sure he'll be good for us, Garry obviously thinks so or he wouldn't have signed him.
We've had 'top heavy' sides in the past which hasn't worked so well, so I'm quite happy with the side as it looks at the moment. But a big number 1 is an absolute must. Can't wait to see who it is.

Problem is that you can't have someone like Tarasenko because Poland, doesnt really leave many riders
