I'm assuming this Rhys Naylor is the same one that used to ride for Kings Lynn, if so here's hoping he has a better evening than the last time he rode at the 'Colliseum/SBA', everyone have a safe one.

Tonight we have a guest rider at number 2 Rhys Naylor, He hasn't raced in the National League in 11 years and has only had one practice day at Iwade last weekend since he originally stopped riding. He literally registered for his licence last night which was approved super quick with the help of SCBs Neil Vatcher and we hired him a van this morning so he could make the trip from Essex to Devon. He's been to Plymouth spannering for Alfie and handful of times this season and could see how desperate the Centurions are with all the bad luck they've had and wanted to help. Not all heroes wear capes. #plymouthcenturion #plymouthcenturions #plymouthspeedway

Big up to Alfie on his maximum and some lovely moments from Ben with a heat win, Rhys (who looked to be loving it when interviewed on the centre green) with his battling second place and Richie, who after a wobbly start, earned a decent point on heat 13.
But the difference was their reserves were just too good. That Luke Killeen looks the real deal, reminds me when an unknown reserve called Drew Kemp came down late season at reserve for Mildenhall and scored a whopping 17 points.
Hey ho, it's called the development league for a reason.

Tough night for the Centurions June 14, 2022 The Plymouth SWRT Centurions suffered a tough night at The Coliseum as a strong Oxford Chargers side took all of the points with a 34-56 victory.
Alfie Bowtell top scored for the home side with a full 15 point maximum, whilst Ben Trigger chipped in with 8, Richard Andrews 5 and Rhys Naylor with 4 paid five in his first competitive meeting for 11 years.

Personally a bit shocked to see atkins going around on the truck for the victory parade with his new team, totally disrespectful imo to the Plymouth promotion and fans after his actions in with holding his services which after dan gilkes injury virtually ruined the centurions of any chance of being competitive and also impacting on Plymouth Speedway as a business and costing the promotion alot of money due to the fact that people will not come to watch a non competitive team in the same numbers as a successful team. True colours shown,Don't think he will make the grade at championship level, but will get a team in the nl where he will be at best be a 3rd heat leader 6or7 pt average. Ben Trigger looks a far better prospect.
