PREVIEW: PLYMOUTH V ARMADALE (NDL) TUESDAY, OCTOBER 4, 2022 PLYMOUTH host Armadale in their final NDL match of the season at the Coliseum tonight (Tuesday).
The meeting could determine which side is left with the wooden spoon, with the hosts currently two points behind the visitors in the table.
The Centurions operate rider replacement at No.1 for long-term injury victim Dan Gilkes, and otherwise have their regular six on track.
The Devils bring in Kai Ward and James Laker to guest at reserve for Gregor Millar (unavailable) and Kyran Lyden (injured) whilst Josh Embleton also misses out with injury, with r/r in operation, and they also have a guest team manager in Jason Pipe.
PLYMOUTH: Dan Gilkes R/R, Ben Trigger, Rhys Naylor, Richard Andrews, Adam Roynon, Adam Extance, David Abraham. ARMADALE: Lee Complin, Elliot Kelly, Danny Phillips, Josh Embleton R/R, Tom Woolley, Kai Ward, James Laker.

Looking forward to this.
Hopefully we'll be too strong for those Devils especially with Ben T back and Adam R who rides the Coliseum so well at this level. And I know it's not been a prolific season for Adam E but like to imagine he'll be strong at reserve.
And getting to watch Lee in action again will be fun too after his monumental performance against Poole last time out.
Should be fun all round.

For the outsider looking in you'd think it'd be a no brainer not a tricksy Tuesday dilemma with table topping Argyle or table propping Centurions both in town tonight but it isn't, it really isn't. There's something magical about October speedway under the lights.

Well how good was that. What a great way to end the Centurions season with some great racing from all the lads on both teams.
Richie's pass round Tom Wolley, Adam R's dominance of his first three races, David winning heat 2, Adam E's dad getting really excited by his boy's two second places, great consistency from Rhys and Ben T re-finding his feet in his home comeback from injury. But also for the Devils (boy it's weird typing that though should be past it by now) with even their reserves giving it a good go, but seriously it was Lee who was the star of the night. He fully deserved those bumps for that max with the way he rode that outside line favoured by Ben Barker who does know how to ride the Coliseum. To put Adam R behind you three times takes some doing, but that last heat with Lee taking the outside gate and Adam the inside was the best of the lot.
What else to say, a beautiful track, no falls (well one but the kid remounted to finish), no reruns, no exclusions or unsatisfactory starts. Just 15 heats of speedway riders giving it their all.
Perfect... thanks Mark, thanks all.
