Oh my word... Fingers crossed that Jason and James can hit double figures and we may just have a chance. Garry will be chopping and changing all over the shop tonight. My bet is Kyle, Richie, Jason and James to take BBs rides and James will also take one of Nathan's and possibly one off Ben T. Pearson in for a seven ride night would be my guess.
Get well soon Dan and Ben.

Another great night's entertainment at the home of the Glads, track looked pretty good, so no complaints from the away rider (name withheld) unlike in 2022, a slight amount of dust adequately kept down by the right amount of track watering. The nights entertainment also included some unnecessary post heat 'jousting' between two riders, perhaps one of the riders involved in this (name also withheld) is not quite as good as he thinks he is. From my position, just under the referees box in the main stand, the exclusion of Chris Harris looked to be the correct one, a fairly good crowd, slightly down on last week I think, were treated to a fantastic night of 'old school' speedway and just for the want of 4 more points from the home team they would have got a win. The difference between the sides was probably the all action Glasgow reserve Lee Complin and many people would probably say he was their rider of the night, so it's now onto next Tuesday against another load of invaders from North of the border.

Well I thought we did blooming well all things considered. Just felt all the marginal stuff went against us. Trigger missing out on a point in heat 4 due to bike troubles when well set or the race not being awarded when Bomber got excluded on a 5-1 or James pushing to get back around Ben Basso and hitting the fence instead of settling for the 3-3 (though absolutely fair play to him for going for it). What about Kyle having to sit behind Nathan for the best part of four laps in the first heat when he could have spent it putting pressure on Lee C instead.
Look, no complaints. Bomber's four laps to reel in Richie or that hard but fair racing (take note name withheld) in both heats 13 and 15. Or Basso and Santa Claus both making moves around Richie in heat 7 then the same pair leaving Kyle in their wake in 10. And Nathan was entitled to go for that line, he was the one who got clipped, wobbled and ended up last when he could have got second or left it for a certain third. It was great stuff all round.
Best night of the season for Kyle but they were all good, they all tried and they came up short. Full team and we win. That's the margins in this sport.
Tell you what though, and maybe I'm bottling this moment, but get the right guests and what's to stop us winning all those fixtures coming up against those teams around us. Not just home, but away too. It felt like a proper speedway night tonight... at long last.
