Looking forward to tomorrow night's meeting between the Glads in blue and yellow and those 'Orcs' from North of the border, can the home team avoid a 14 meeting losing streak?, I'm not quite so sure, but it might be a close run thing.

Just hope the track is OK! Think Edinburgh will be seeing us as easy pickings and they also have underperformed this year, just hope we can cover the gaps left by Ben and Dan (who by the way I wish both speedy recoveries).

Looking like some rubbish weather heading in shortly but should be clear later this afternoon. Hopefully enough time to prep the track and there hasn't been the rain over the last few days unlike before the Berwick non-meeting.
Anyway, welcome back Kyle N to the Plymouth bib. Always decent around our track. As I see it Kyle H and Richie get six rides, Kyle N takes five, James certainly six and maybe his full seven dependant on how Ben T goes who'll get three or four. Max Perry will get just the three whatever occurs.
I hope and expect our two premier riders to hit good double figure scores and Kyle N to chip in with a decent amount. Tonight will be won and lost by the reserves.

Oh man, this sport can rip your heart out sometimes. I thought I was past letting results of my favourite teams get me down but I'm stunned, though not quite speechless.
What to say but after that fabulous heat 13 it looked like we'd flop over the line, hopefully with one win from those last two heats. Maybe James could repeat his heat 9 heroics against Pickering or Kyle H, maybe Richie lead from the front to see us home. I still can't quite believe it. To fall at the end like that.
I'll give fair play to Max Perry, I didn't expect him to score anything but to be fair he gave it a go for his twelve laps and stayed upright for all of them (even holding up Josh P long enough for James to get away up front).

Disappointed, those track grades changed the meeting completely making it a 'gating tarts' night, along with the six concurrent 3-3 heats and the heat 14 1-5, the crowd seemed to be a bit on the low side with quite a few empty seats around me in the main stand and the back straight looked a bit light. My rider of the night was James Pearson in one of his best scoring nights, so it's onto next week and I'm not going to mention anything about a losing streak.

I guess Argyle being at home didn't help. And we thought we got kicked in the teeth tonight...
