I no they do not have to do this but maybe just maybe if the promotion or manager went on the British speedway forum and said there piece maybe this constant slating of Plymouth’s track might be put to bed as it’s not good for the club or business. It would make things worse I think the promotion/management should stay off all forums and social media people are queuing up to engage and argue with them imo

Maybe your right but I’m getting peed off with the constant slating of Plymouth,it is starting to seem a collective witch hunt against Plymouth by some people who have never even visited the place.

I think if you want to know about the track ask the riders personally which I did Luke and jack said it was too slick? and luke was hurt after his crash so wasn’t going to risk it. All the other riders I asked said the track was ok I think I only missed out not asking Danyon and Danno, but well played by our riders, also it’s about time our track was prepared to how our riders like it I always remember speaking to Tom Brown he hated riding the track after it had been watered and sometimes urged mike not to put water down but again it’s down to individual riders, some like it slick others don’t I really thought at one stage I was going to see a full house of wins for us but was so close hopefully it may happen this week !!

Hi martinben.
Just goes to show is all about personal preferences because the little bit of work on the approach to bend 1 was because some said it was too grippy. Obviously no one can please everyone.
For me if we can have the same conditions again and win our home meetings I am all for it. After all, it is what the opposition do at home.
As far as the British Speedway forum is concerned it seems to attract those who like to hide behind their keyboards and throw mud. In reality they are not welcome elsewhere and here I agree with Lewy, the promotion should not waste their time with these petty minded people, it would simply ferment more bile.

On Friday the track was prepared for our team , some of the visiting riders did not like the look of it. There was no dust until heat 11 which I could have rectified but I felt it would only delay the meeting more . I aim to prepare a similar racing surface for the rest of the season and hopefully start to climb from the bottom of the league table . I do not have to prepare a racetrack that it pleasing to every rider , I need to prepare a racetrack for spectator pleasure (limited dust) and a track for our team to RACE on . I believe there is a few people behind the scenes trying to demoralise the Team , Promotion and the supporters ... never mind .............I promise to keep the magic sponge attached to the rear of the tractor.....

Keep preparing the track how our riders would like it mark I’m sure that’s what other teams do so why not do it here. If it helps us win the rest of our home meetings then that can only be a good thing and you never know we may finally get that play off place
