A chance, maybe to pull some points back after last night, let’s just hope for good racing and a safe meeting.

I hoped for good racing, but unfortunately in the majority of races, it was follow the leader. Richie gave us a very exciting race to win coming down the final straight to the line, more like that would have been much better. The first hour, things turned out to be shambolic, it would appear that riders had problems with the track again, but after the tractor came out all seemed well again. The Gladiators rode very well tonight and deserved their top spot on the night, hopefully this will continue next Friday. A well done to Mike on him taking over from the tannoy system. Leicester next week, I hope we can get going from the first heat without any hitches.

Four points dropped all night. Wow.
You can only race what's up against you and all that, but 13 heat wins tells its own story and shows exactly why we are where we are with our league form.
Feel for Luke Bowen as he (and was) attacks our track and gives it a good go and along with Dan Gilkes who did pay a vist to the air fence in heat 3 I hope they're both ok. But what with Jack Thomas. Didn't he give up and go home in another meeting (the U19/21s back in 2017) without riding.
